This is a fascinating article about the connection between Columbia's FARC rebels and the Venezuelan government in the transit of cocaine all over the world. It provided a wealth of detailed information about FARC motivations and operations -- things I didn't know before -- as the author interviews a number of defected FARC soldiers. As far Venezuela's collaborative role in this sordid enterprise -- well, is anyone surprised who's acquainted with the government?
Great reporting.
